SGG Planitherm is a high performance low-emissivity (low-E) glass unique to SAINT-GOBAIN Glass and chosen by Radley Windows and Conservatories for its excellent thermal insulation performance.
In place of traditional hard low-E coatings, Planitherm employs a specially developed sputtered coating, offering significant advantages, both aesthetic and thermal, over other low-E products:

- a neutral appearance, giving total clarity of vision and maximising the use of natural light.

- reduction of energy costs by reflecting heat back into the room.

- the surface temperature of the glass is closer to room temperature, virtually eliminating the risk of unsightly condensation forming on windows.

- reduction of cold zones and draughts around windows and glazed areas, encouraging more effective use of space. Traditionally cold areas of a building such as conservatories can then be used for a greater part of the year.

- the special coating provides a degree of solar control helping keep rooms cooler during sunny weather.
